1958-1971: A white basketball with "DETROIT PISTONS BASKETBALL CLUB" in red and "NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSN." below in blue.
1972-1975: Same logo as before, except with the "NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSN." removed.
1976-1979: A slightly modified version of the last logo with "BASKETBALL CLUB" removed.
1980-1996: A red circle with a blue and white outline with "DETROIT PISTONS" in it.
1997-2001: The Pistons changed their team colors to teal, black, yellow and red during the summer of 1996. The new logo features a horse’s head and flaming mane, represented “horse power”. A wordmark “PISTONS” in white with black and teal trim and “DETROIT” in white at the bottom.
2002-2005: Same logo as before except with a color change to red, blue and navy blue.
2006-2016: A blue, red and white basketball with "DETROIT PISTONS" arched over the ball.
2017-present: Very similar to the 1980-1996 logo, with a new font.
