Utah's new logo is a throwback to their days in New Orleans.

1980-1993: "UTAH JAZZ" in purple, the J is a music note shaped like a basketball.
1994-2003: A brown circle with "UTAH" in purple with "JAZZ" below. Mountains in the background with a basketball below.
2005-2010: A color change, with the colors changing to light blue, dark blue and purple.
2011-2015: Another color change as the team goes for blue, green and yellow.
2016-present: A logo very similar to the original logo. The only difference is that the letters are blue and green instead of purple.

1997-2004: "UJ" in blue and purple. UJ stands for Utah Jazz.
