The Suns started in 1968. All of their logos have a basketball with yellow spikes on it.
1968-1992: A orange box with a yellow basketball in it with white spikes on it. "PHOENIX SUNS" in purple.
1993-2000: A purple rectangle with the basketball in it with "PHOENIX SUNS" underneath.
2001-2013: The text is now white, and the rectangle has a grey outline.
2014-present: The same logo as before except it has a different font, the basketball is cleaner, and there is now a black backdrop.
1969-1992: "SUNS" in purple on a orange sun.
2001-2013: The initials “PHX” on a shield against a basketball that is in flames forming the shape of a Phoenix bird.
2001-2013: The basketball with a purple oval around it.
2014-present: A S with a hidden sun in the middle.
2014-present: A yellow sun with a basketball in front of it.
2014-present: Slight change of colors from the 2001 – 2013 logo.
1993-2000: "PHOENIX SUNS" in black.
1993-2000: "SUNS" in purple with a basketball on a sun below.
2001-2013: "SUNS" in purple, outlined in yellow.
