Utah's new logo is a throwback to their days in New Orleans.
1980-1993: "UTAH JAZZ" in purple, the J is a music note shaped like a basketball.
1994-2003: A brown circle with "UTAH" in purple with "JAZZ" below. Mountains in the background with a basketball below.
2005-2010: A color change, with the colors changing to light blue, dark blue and purple.
2011-2015: Another color change as the team goes for blue, green and yellow.
2016-present: A logo very similar to the original logo. The only difference is that the letters are blue and green instead of purple.
1980-1996: Partial logo without the rest of the letters.
1997-2004: "UJ" in blue and purple. UJ stands for Utah Jazz.
1994-2004: A brown basketball in the middle of a green snowflake.
2005-2008: "UJ" in light blue.
2005-2010: A purple basketball with mountains coming out of the top.
2009-2010: The J note except in the colors at the time.
2011-2015: The J note with a silver outline.
2011-2015: The original logo except in blue and with a silver outline.
2016-present: A blue circle with the basketball of the J note in the middle with "UTAH JAZZ BASKETBALL" around it.
2016-present: The J note except in blue.
2016-present: The primary logo without "UTAH".
2016-present: The basketball of the J note.
1996-2003: "JAZZ" in blue and purple.
2004-2009: "JAZZ" in dark blue and outlined in white and light blue.
2010-2015: "JAZZ" in the classic J note style.
2010-2015: "JAZZ" in white, outlined in yellow, blue and silver.
